My idea was to display the different stages of life. I chose to use leaves and the ground. I think my piece is able to express my idea because I chose different color leaves to represent different stages of life and how life comes full circle. A kiss, a great meal, a work of art, a marriage, and a human life should last as long as they need to last. I think that since things are finite, people try to appreciate them more because they know they are going to lose it one day. Things like clean water, air, and land should be sustainable and long lasting so others can experience things and create new things. One person definitely can make a difference in global problems like climate change. It only takes one person to start everything, so I do believe that one person can start change for global issues.
